Select the desired program from the Training menu.

. You can also view the programmed
content of the presets within the included software, making it easier to see and
understand the segments and the intervals/targets for the exercise.

Make sure the pulse sensor is properly attached (
When it is properly attached, the LED will start flashing in time with your heart
rate.

From the menu, select “Start,” then start running or walking with
the tempo of the song that plays.
As you exercise, the program number and the segment number is shown at
the top of the display. A song of the appropriate tempo is automatically
selected from all songs currently on the BF-11.

If you want to specify a certain Playlist for song selection, select “View/Edit” here, and then
select “OK” at the bottom. The Select Music display appears.
WARNING
In the Training mode, the device plays back songs that follow the pace of the program,
and naturally you should try to match this pace. However, if you find the pace too
strenuous, do not force yourself to keep pace. Lower the pace accordingly (
stop the exercise.

If the pulse sensor is not attached properly or if your heart rate cannot be detected (that is,
when the LED is off), heart rate is not memorized in the exercise log (
“Measurement Error!” message appears in the training program with the target of “HR” or
“%HRR” (
). Reattach the pulse sensor properly and make sure your pulse is being
measured.

When the Tempo Guide function (
) is set to on, the guide sounds if your walking/jogging
pace deviates from the tempo of a song.

For audio song playback, the song tempo which is analyzed by the BODiBEAT Station software
may differ from the actual tempo depending on the song characteristics. In this case, you can
manually correct the tempo information with the BODiBEAT Station. For details, refer to the
BODiBEAT Station Owner’s Manual.

While you’re running or walking, you can change the volume of the
music and select different songs.
