FRONT PANEL KEYS LOCK MODE

In the front panel keys lock mode, the all front panel keys operation is stopped temporarily.

●

Setting Front Panel Keys Lock mode

Before setting the front panel keys lock mode, prepare a disc for playback in advance.

1. Press the “ ” (On/Standby) key to turn on the power. (Fig. 1)

2. Open the disc tray by pressing the “ ” (Eject) key and load the disc for playback on the disc tray. (Fig. 1)

3. With the disc tray opened, keep pressing the “ ” (Eject) and “ ” (Stop) keys for 5 seconds or longer. (Fig. 1)

The front panel keys lock mode is set, the display is changed to “LOCK” and the disc tray closes automatically.

Only the remote control is available for operation when this unit is in the front panel keys lock mode. If any key
on the front panel is pressed, the “Lock” is displayed only.

Canceling Front Panel Keys Lock mode

With the power turned on, press the “ ” (Eject) key on the remote control. (Fig. 3)

The front panel keys lock mode is cancelled and “UNLOCK” is displayed which then returns to the normal display.
