gives y ou quick  a nd ea sy  a ccess to voice, Scene,
Free EG, Arpeggia tor, Step Sequencer a nd
Sy stem  pa ra m eters. All voice-rela ted pa ra m eters
ca n be stored a s voice da ta  in ea ch of the 1 2 8
user voices.

There are six menus o f Edit parameters, as fo llo ws:

V O ICE SCEN E SETUP:

Includes Scene- and Layer-related

parameters fo r the vo ice.

V O ICE CO M M O N :

Includes Tempo , Effect and o ther

parameters co mmo n to the vo ice.

V O ICE FREE EG:

Includes Track select, reco rding and

o ther parameters related to the Free EG functio n.

V O ICE ARPEGGIO / SEQ :

Includes co mmo n and specific

parameters related to the Arpeg g iato r and Step

Sequencer.

SEQ EDIT/ SETUP:

Includes Kno b and Pattern parameters

related to the Step Sequencer.

UTILITY SETUP:

Includes “ g lo bal” parameters which

affect the AN 1 x’s system, including MIDI setting s, Co ntro l

Chang e-related assig nments and o thers.

Utility parameter settings cannot be stored as voice data.

The pro cedure fo r editing a vo ice is o utlined belo w.

1 . Select a voice using the PRO GRAM CHAN GE

k ey pa d.

Enter the number o f the vo ice yo u want, fo llo wed by

[YES/ EN TER], o r select the vo ice by pressing [+] / [-].

2 . Select the edit m enu.

Set the [EDIT RO TARY] switch to the menu with the

parameter that yo u want to edit.

3 . Select the pa ra m eter tha t y ou w a nt to edit.

Press the [UP/ DO W N ] switch lo cated beneath the

parameter name o nce to display the parameter name

and current value o r setting in the LCD.

4 . Set the pa ra m eter va lue or setting.

Each time yo u press the upper area o f the

[UP/ DO W N ] switch the parameter o r value setting will

increment by a unit, and each time yo u press the lo wer

area o f the switch the parameter o r value setting will

decrement by a unit. Ho lding do wn the upper o r lo wer

area o f the switch lets yo u quickly scro ll thro ug h the

values o r setting s.
