Requirements for installation
The meter may not operate correctly under
the following conditions:
• When installed near a source of noise
(generator, radio, antenna wire, etc.).
Keep the meter away from noise sources.
• When the ambient temperature is high.
Avoid exposure to high temperatures.
• When the connected external device is not
compatible.
Use a device that conforms to the require-
ments (i.e., NMEA0183-compatible GPS).
• If the gateway hub is not connected.
Use a gateway hub to connect external de-
vices such as NMEA2000 compatible
GPS, fish finder, etc.
Proper care of the instrument
If the surface of the instrument is dirty, wipe
it clean with a soft, lint-free cloth.
NOTICE
• Do not use high-pressure washers or
steam-jet cleaners. Water may enter the
instrument and cause the instrument to
malfunction.
• Avoid using chemical cleaners (con-
taining alkalinity, acidity, or neutrality),
wax containing an abrasive compound,
oil, solvents, or any other chemicals.
Otherwise, the surface of the instru-
ment could be damaged.
