Adjusting the trolling speed
The “TROLL” main screen allows to adjust
the trolling speed. The trolling speed can be
adjusted randomly by increasing or decreas-
ing it in approximate steps of 50 r/min. In a
twin-engine application, the trolling speeds
of both engines are synchronized.
This function is not available for outboard
motors not equipped with a trolling speed ad-
justment function.
In order to switch to the trolling mode, all of
the following conditions must be satisfied.
• Engine running (shift-in).
• Throttle fully closed.
• “TROLL” selected as the main screen.
1. Select the “TROLL” main screen.
2. Press the [SET] button to switch to the
trolling mode.
TIP:
While the trolling mode is active, “TROLL” is
shown in the status bar in place of “VIEW”.
3. Use the [
LI
] (Up/Down) buttons of the
directional keypad to adjust the trolling
speed.
TIP:
• To increase the trolling speed, press the
[
L
] (Up) button.
• To decrease the trolling speed, press the
[

• When warming up a cold engine, the trol-
ling speed cannot be decreased below the
