The position of the trim angle adjusting
rod determines the minimum trim angle
of the outboard motor in relation to the
transom.

WARNING INDICATOR LAMP

If the engine develops a condition which
is cause for warning, the lamp on the star-
board side of the bottom cowling lights
up. Refer to the section “WARNING SYS-
TEM” for details of this function.

When the main switch is first turned on,
all the oil level warning indicator lamps
(green, yellow, and red) flash for a few
seconds. If a light does not flash, replace
the bulb.
