Make sure that the transceiver is off. Remove the hard or soft case, if used.

Remove the battery pack.

Locate the connector for the

BU-2

under the Caution Seal in the battery compartment

on the back of the transceiver, just peel off the Caution Seal (

Figure 1

Cleanly remove the old Caution Seal and adhesive to preserve the submersible per-
formance.

Gently install the supplied Connector Unit to the transceiver’s connector, then align
the connector on the

BU-2

with the connector of the Connector Unit and gently press

the

BU-2

into place (

Figure 2

Affix the new (supplied) Caution Seal, and replace the battery pack.

Installation is now complete.
