Make certain that all cables are disconnected from
the transceiver.

Wait 10 minutes to allow the power supply’s elec-
trolytic capacitors to discharge (electrical shock
hazard!).

Remove the carrying handle and its two screws
(

), then remove the four screws (

) on each

side of the transceiver and the three screws (

)

along the top edge of the rear panel, then lift off the
top cover.

Locate the Voltage Selector Switch on the Power
Supply Unit in the transceiver’s chassis. Move the
Voltage Selector Switch to appropriate mains volt-
age for your country (either 230 V or 115 V).

Replace the top cover and its 11 screws, then re-
place the carrying handle and its two screws.

Change the fuse in the fuse holder on the rear panel,
as indicated below. Do not use slow blow type fuses.

Also, change the voltage marking on the label on
the rear panel to match the new voltage setting.
