Current ALC Adjustment
Connect the 50-Ohm Dummy Load and Watt
-
meter to the “ANT 1” jack.
Press and hold in the [1.8(1)], [3.5(2)], and [7(3)]
keys, while turning the radio on, to enter the
alignment mode.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-01 I-ALC1.8” for the 1.8
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-02 I-ALC3.5” for the 3.5
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-03 I-ALC7” for the 7
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-04 I-ALC10” for the 10
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-05 I-ALC14” for the 14
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-06 I-ALC18” for the 18
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-07 I-ALC21” for the 21
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-08 I-ALC24” for the 24
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-09 I-ALC28” for the 28
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter “9-10 I-ALC50” for the 50
MHz amateur band's ALC Adjustment.
Press the PTT button, then adjust the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 110 W on the Wattme
-
ter.
Release the PTT button, then rotate the
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the frequency in
-
dication “10” in-crease.
Press and hold in the [MENU] button for one
second to save the new setting and exit the
alignment mode.
