Interconnections to FT-950
Connect the DMU-2000 and FT-950 transceiver, your after market Display, and your after market Keyboard (if used) as
shown in Figure 5.

OTICE
:
Keep an inch (2.5 cm) of space on either side of the DMU-2000 to prevent overheating.
Operation
The operation of the
DMU-2000
is described in the Op-
eration Manual supplied with the DMU-2000 .
However, the arrangement of the function keys is different
than the
FT-2000 . The FT-950 [ BAND
] buttons are used
for the DMU-2000 operations instead of Function But-
tons. Press and hold the FT-950 [ ENT
(
DISPLAY
)] but-
ton for one second, the FT-950 ’s [ BAND
] buttons will
act as “function” keys for the DMU-2000 . Please see the
DMU-2000 Operation Manual for operating details.
