AR550X General Subtab

This tab's

General

subtab controls the properties of the AR5500 model HHD units when

loading FlexRead route(s) from AutoRead to the HHD (see Figures 3.5 and 3.6). If the HHD

model being used is not an AR5500 model, then the HHD will ignore these settings.
Parameters within the

General

subtab are exclusive to the FlexPro application and used

when installing/reading FlexNet SmartPoint M2 devices. See Figure 3.5 and Table 3.4 for a

visual reference and explanation of each parameter.
•

User ID

: Indicates the ID (valid values are 0 - 127) assigned to the user of the HHD.

When a SmartPoint is programmed, this value is stored in the SmartPoint. It can be used

for auditing purposes to let a utility know which user programmed a specific SmartPoint.

•

Utility Code

: (Valid values are 0-15) can be used to distinguish one utility from other

surrounding utilities. When a SmartPoint is programmed, this value is stored in the

SmartPoint. If set to <Use Value From Profile> then the utility code contained in the

profile is used when programming. If set to any value but <Use Value From Profile>, then

the selected utility code will override the value contained in the profile.

Implement User ID

: Uses the stored User ID when programming SmartPoints. If this

value is unchecked, then a User ID of 0 is used when programming.

•

Supervisor Password

: Indicates the password needed for access to the Supervisor

screen within FlexPro.
