Note:
When using coaxial cables transmission distances of up to 500 m are possible. However, this
depends on the quality of the cables as well as on the connectors and possibly required
welded joints.
The Dahua device is connected to the HeiTel device via IP connection.
The HeiTel device sends the data via per IP connection (and switch) to the CamControl LITE software,
CamControl PRO software respectively. The CamControl LITE software is used for configuration and
video evaluation and analysis.

Install Dahua HDCVI Encoder
Refer to the Dahua device documentation for information on setup and commissioning.
When you have connected the device to the camera network and assigned an IP address etc. using the on-
screen menu, you can use the web interface for further configuration. Data input in the web interface may be
more comfortable than using the on-screen keyboard.
Note
: Operation without hard disk might result in a continuous alarm (alarm tone). Switch off that alarm as
described in the following.

Select the main menu icon in the Navigation Bar and then Setting, Event, Abnormality:

Select No HDD from the Event type list.
3.
Deactivate the checkbox behind Enable.
This deactivates the No HDD alarm.
