Félicitations pour l’achat du MI-4 / MI-6 fabriqué en France par XP Metal Detectors. Notez que le MI-4 et le MI-6 fonctionnent seuls
avec 6 programmes, 3 niveaux de sensibilité et modes audio sélectionnables. En outre le MI-6 offre l’avantage de se connecter par liaison radio
au détecteur DEUS pour des fonctionnalités étendues grâce à son programme N°7. Retrouvez toutes ses fonctionnalités dans le manuel DEUS V4

Allumage:
Allumez en pressant le bouton tout en restant éloigné de toute source métallique jusqu’à la mélodie. Le pinpointer est calibré et prêt à détecter.
Extinction:
Éteignez en pressant 0.5s minimum puis relâchez. Une fois éteint, la LED clignote très brièvement toutes les 4 secondes.
Note: Auto-extinction au bout de 5 mn sans pression du bouton.

Retune:
A tout moment, vous pouvez re-calibrer en pressant le bouton très brièvement tout en l’éloignant de toute source métallique. Sur sol mi-
néralisé, eau salée, re-calibrez le au contact du sol. Pour améliorer la localisation, re-calibrez à proximité de l’objet, la zone de détection sera ainsi réduite.
Programme:
Lors du premier allumage, le Pinpointer démarre sur le programme 2. Lors des allumages suivants, il démarrera sur le dernier programme
utilisé. Pour changer de programme : Pinpointer allumé, pressez 5 secondes le bouton, une mélodie indique alors que vous entrez dans le mode choix de pro-
gramme, pressez autant de fois que le N° de programme désiré (ex : pressez 6 fois pour le prog 6) . Après 2 secondes la mélodie indique la sortie du mode.

Le prog 7 fonctionne uniquement avec le DEUS. Il ne génèrera
aucun son, ni vibration. Il est nécessaire d’appairer le MI-6 avec
votre DEUS.
Pour la localisation d’objet, il est préconisé des niveaux de sensibilité bas,
tels les prog 1 et 2. Le niveau de sensibilité haut (prog 3) est plutôt destiné à la
recherche de cache dans des murs, des meubles.
Appairer le MI-6 au DEUS:
1) Sur la télécommande, allez dans:
OPTION > PINPOINTER > APPAIRER. ( Pour appairer le MI-6 aux casques sans fil XP, veuillez-vous référer au manuel DEUS V4
)
2) Allumez en pressant 8 sec le bouton du MI-6 pour l’appairer.
3) Le MI-6 bascule alors automatiquement sur son programme 7 et fonctionne avec ce DEUS. Si vous souhaitez réutiliser le MI-6 de manière
autonome sans le DEUS, alors sélectionnez un des programmes 1 à 6 sur le MI-6.
Caractéristiques du MI-6 appairé au DEUS:
Signal audio transmis au DEUS (brevet XP) / Anti parasitage (brevet XP): Mise en veille du DEUS à l’allumage du
MI-6 et réveil instantané à l’extinction. Affichage/réglage sur le DEUS dès l’allumage du MI-6 / 50 niveaux de sensibilité / Choix de mode sonore Pitch ou Pulse /
Tonalité audio / Mire de localisation des cibles / Grande autonomie jusqu’à 90 heures / Recherche à distance MI-6 perdu (même éteint).

- Recharge uniquement par une alimentation TBTS, source à puissance limitée.
- Température ambiante permise en charge : 0°C à + 35° C. Température de stockage conseillée : 25°C
- Les batteries sont protégées contre les surcharges et décharges profondes. Il ne faut pas intervenir sur les batteries ou les mettre en court-circuit, cela détruirait les circuits
de protection ou entraînerait fumées et incendie.
- Ne laissez pas les batteries en charge inutilement et par précaution débranchez le bloc secteur après un cycle de charge.
- Si vous remarquez une perforation, une odeur ou quelque chose d’anormal déposez-la dans un point de collecte spécifique. Ne tentez pas alors de la recharger au risque de
provoquer un échauffement ou un incendie.
- Ne jetez pas la batterie lithium aux ordures, mais déposez-la dans un point de collecte adapté.
- Ne pas approcher les batteries de sources de chaleur et ne pas les jeter au feu.
- Ne pas perforer l’enveloppe de la batterie ou tenter de souder la batterie.
- Il y a risque d’explosion ou d’incendie si la batterie est remplacée par une batterie de type incorrect.
- N’utiliser que des batteries LiPo de chez XP (réf : D088).
- La plage de température conseillée en utilisation est de -5°C à + 40°C.
- Si vous remarquez une surchauffe anormale, débranchez le bloc secteur et ne tentez plus de recharger.
- Ne pas faire voyager par voie aérienne une batterie défectueuse ou douteuse.

Dévisser le bouchon, branchez le câble fourni au Pinpointer et à une prise USB (ex: bloc secteur du DEUS, de smartphones ou pc...).

Switch on:
Press the button while remaining away from any metal source until the end of the melody, now the Pinpointer is calibrated and ready to detect.
Switch off:
Press the button for a minimum of 0.5s and then release. - Once off, the LED flashes briefly every 4 seconds.
Note: Auto-switch off is activated after 5 min without any key press.

Retune:
When operating, you can re-calibrate the Pinpointer by briefly pressing the button while away from any metallic source. On minera
-
lized ground and salt water, it is advised to re-calibrate while in contact with the ground. To obtain a precise target location, re-calibrate near to the
object, the detection zone will now be reduced.
Programs:
When the Pinpointer is switched on for the first time, it will start in program N°2. When it is switched on again, it will start on the
last program used. To change a program: With the Pinpointer on, press the button for 5 seconds, a short melody will indicate that you have entered
the program selection mode, press again for the desired program number. (e.g : press 6 times for program 6). After 2 seconds a melody indicates
the MI-6 has returned to search mode.

Prog 7 is intended for use with the DEUS only. It will not generate any
sound or vibration. It is necessary to pair the MI-6 with your DEUS
For precise target location a lower sensitivity level is recom

mended prog 1 or 2. - Prog 3 uses a higher sensitivity level and is in-
tended for cache searching in walls, furniture, or in mineralized soils.
Pairing the MI-6 with the DEUS :
1) From the remote control menu select : OPTION > PINPOINTER > PAIRING . (
To pair the MI-6 to the WS4 or WS5 wireless headphones, please refer to the Deus V4 user’s manual.)
2) Switch on while holding down the MI-6 button for 8 seconds, this will enable pairing.
3) The MI-6 automatically selects program 7 and works with the DEUS. If you want to use the MI-6 without the DEUS radio link connection, select
programs 1 to 6 on the MI-6 button menu.
MI-6 specifications and advantages when paired with the DEUS:
Audio signal transmitted to the DEUS (XP patent) / An-
ti-interference system (XP patent): The DEUS is automatically switched OFF when the MI-6 is in use and then wakes up when
the Mi-6 is turned OFF - When the Pinpointer is switched ON a dedicated Deus menu is activated allowing further adjustments :
/ 50 levels of sensitivity / Sound mode selection - Pitch or Pulse / Audio Tone adjustment. Other Deus features include a Target zoom screen / MI- 6
on screen Battery level display / Long battery life of up to 90 hours / Remote recovery mode (even when the lost MI-6 is switched OFF)

- Recharge only with a SELV power source, limited power source.
- Permissible ambient temperature while charging 0°C to + 35 °C. Recommended storage temperature: 25 ° C
- The batteries are protected against overloads and deep discharges. Do not intervene or short-circuit the batteries, this will destroy the protection circuits or cause smoke and fire.
- Do not leave batteries charged unnecessarily and as a precaution unplug the power after a charge cycle.

The sound varies in tone and intensity, it
offers a more precise target location.
Audio PULSE:
Higher sound, for noisy environments. Tar-

Unscrew the cap, connect the supplied cable to the Pinpointer. Use a power supply with a USB output (eg DEUS, PC, smartphones ...).

Einschalten:
Knopf kurz, bis Ende der Melodie von Metallen entfernt gedrückt halten, der Pinpointer ist nun kalibriert und einsatzbereit.
Ausschalten:
Knopf mindestens für 0,5 Sekunden gedrückt halten und dann loslassen. Im ausgeschaltetem Zustand blinkt die LED alle 4
Sekunden kurz auf. Info: Nach 5 Minuten ohne Tastendruck erfolgt automatische Abschaltung.

Abgleich (Retune):
Im Betriebszustand kann der Pinpointer re-kalibriert werden, drücken Sie dafür, von Metallen entfernt, ganz kurz
den Knopf. Auf mineralisierten Böden und bei Salzwasser ist es ratsam einen Abgleich über dem Boden zu machen. Um ein Target sehr präzise zu
lokalisieren, drücken Sie nahe am Target für einen Abgleich kurz den Knopf, dass Detektionsfeld wird dann für eine möglichst akurate Ortung reduziert.
Programme:
Der Pinpointer startet nach dem ersten Einschalten in Programm Nr.2. Nach dem nächsten Einschalten im zuletzt genutzten
Programm. Um ein Program zu wechseln: Pinpointer Einschalten, den Knopf für 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten, eine kurze Melodie zeigt an das Sie im
Programm Auswahl-Menu sind, erneut drücken für das gewünschte Programm (z.B.: 6 mal drücken für Prog. 6). Nach 2 Sekunden zeigt eine Melodie
an das Sie wieder zurück im Suchmode sind.

Programm 7 ist nur in Verbindung mit DEUS konzipiert,
Sound / Vibration wird darin nicht generiert. Verbinden Sie
für Prog Nr.7 den MI-6 mit Ihrem DEUS.
Für eine präzise Target-Lokalisierung sind geringe Sens- Ein-
stellungen von Prog. 1 oder 2. empfehlenswert. Prog. 3 hat
die höchste Suchleistung und ist für tiefer liegende Targets
gedacht.
MI-6 mit DEUS verbinden
1) Im Fernsteuerung-Menu : OPTION > PINPOINTER > VERBINDEN.

2) MI-6 Knopf zum Einschalten drücken und 8 Sekunden lang halten (die Verbindung zum DEUS erfolgt dann automatisch).

(XP Patent): Der DEUS schaltet automatisch AUS wenn der MI-6 eingeschaltet wird und wieder EIN wenn der Mi-6 ausgeschaltet wird - Wenn
der Pinpointer eingeschaltet ist wird im Deus ein Menu mit diesen Möglichkeiten aktiviert: 50 Sensibilitäts-Stufen / Ton Mode Auswahl - Pitch oder
Pulse / Audio Ton Einstellungen. Weitere DEUS Features sind ein Target Zoom Display / MI- 6 Batterieanzeige im Display / Batteriekapazität
erhöht sich bis auf 90 Stunden / Verlorenen MI-6 suchen (auch wenn der verlorene MI-6 ausgeschaltet ist).

Batterie:
Schrauben Sie den Deckel auf und schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Ladekabel an. Nutzen Sie eine Ladestation mit USB
Anschluss ( z.B. DEUS, PC, Smartphone, NOTEBOOK etc.).
Ladezeit ± 3 Stunden / Während der Ladung zeigt die LED Dauerlicht / Ladeende, die LED ist 4 Sek. AN, 4 Sek. AUS (im Wechsel)
Beim MI-4 oder MI-6 Einschalten zeigt die LED durch blinken den aktuellen Batteriestatus an.
Batteriezeiten :
Für die längste Batteriezeit (90 Stunden) nutzen Sie den Mi-6 mit dem DEUS (Progr. 7) und deaktivieren die LED.
Lagern Sie den Pinpointer nicht für mehrere Monate mit ungeladener Batterie. Bei richtiger Batterie-Pflege wird diese länger als 5 Jahre halten.

- Die Batterien sind geschützt gegen Überladung und Tiefenentladung. Batterie-Manipulationen durch Öffnen oder Kurzschließen kann die Platine beschädigen und Rauch oder Feuer auslösen.
- Lassen Sie die den MI-6 nicht unnötig lange an der Ladequelle und ziehen nach Abschluß der Ladung das Ladekabel von der Ladequelle.
- Im Falle einer Perforation, einer tropfenden Batterie, unangenehmen Geruch etc. entsorgen Sie die Batterie in einer dafür vorgesehenen Sammelstelle. Versuchen Sie nicht
einen beschädigten Akku erneut aufzuladen.
- Lagern Sie die Batterie nicht an einer Heizquelle, nicht in der Sonne und werfen Sie die Batterie nicht in ein Feuer. Löten Sie nicht am Batteriefach oder
Akku. Wird ein falscher Akku verwendet besteht Explosionsgefahr.
- Verwenden Sie ausschließlich original LiPo Batterien von XP (Bestellnr.: D088).
- Empfohlene Einsatztemperatur: -5°C bis +40°C.
- Bei abnormaler Erhitzung während Ladevorgang, ziehen Sie den Ladestecker und vermeiden
eine weitere Ladung. Transportieren Sie keine defekte oder fehlerhate Batterie auf dem Luft-weg..
