14.1.2.4 ISDN HDLC-RawIP (isdn)

With Euro-ISDN and a direct connection to the network of your telecommunications
company, you usually have to provide the phone number omitting the local area code
as MSN. On a PBX however you usually have to specify the the extension code only.

For the American NI1 protocol you have to supply the MSN and the Service Point
Identifier (SPID) in the format MSN:SPID.

If you are using the 1TR6 protocol you have to specify the "EAZ" which has to be
a single digit (usually 0 or 1) which has nothing to do with the phone number itself.
Entering more than one digit is not admissible.

Connected to ISDN card

On a leased line you have to select the corresponding ISDN card here. This isdn card
will then be reserved for the leased line and can not be used for dial on demand.

D channel callback

If you want to use D channel callback on this interface, select the requested direction.
With D channel callback an incoming call is detected but not accepted, so it won't be
charged. Then the callback is initiated calling the numbers specified as "Numbers to
dial".

B channel callback, with SX-GATE accepting an incoming call,
authenticating the user and then triggering the call back, is not
supported.

SX-GATE calls back

If this option is selected, an acceptable incoming call will be rejected. Then a call
is triggered to the numbers listed at "Numbers to dial".

peer calls back

Selecting this option, SX-GATE will expect a callback when an outgoing call was
not accepted by the peer. The callback must call the correct local MSN and has
to be accepted by the settings of the caller identification.

14.1.2.4-C

Incoming calls

Depending on the actual configuration, interfaces of type "ippp" and type "isdn" can
both accept incoming ISDN calls. Which interface accepts a call depends on the caller
ID and the called local MSN.
