The user "admin" will not be listed in groups "system-mail" and
"system-admin" as this user is always member of these groups.

12.3.3-B

Mail settings

External mail addresses

SX-GATE will automatically create a mail distribution list with the name of the group.
Every user who is member of a group is automatically added to the mail distributor. As
an exception, users who are not member of group "system-mail" will not be included,
as they have no local mailbox.

When a user is added or removed from group "system-mail"
or when a user is deleted completely, this will be reflected
automatically by the mail distributor.

This control allows you to add also external mail addresses or local groups to the mail
distributor.

An email address which refers to a local user or group will not be
removed automatically when the corresponding user or group is
deleted.

SMTP-Auth accepted

SX-GATE's mail server can be configured to relay mails to external recipients only for
specific users. SX-GATE will accept logins only of those users, who are member of a
group with this option enabled.

Only members of group "system-mail" actually have the
necessary account to log in.

By default every client connecting from an internal IP address is allowed to send emails
to external recipients. External senders may not relay to external recipients. SX-GATE
can be configured to require authentication for both types of clients independently.
Activate authentication for internal IP addresses if not every user is allowed to
send mails into the Internet. Relaying external addresses can be handy for external
employees, so they can use SX-GATE as relay server. If you enable the SMTP-Auth
privilege for a user it applies to both connection types.
