
7. Select qspi-x8_dual_parallel as the flash type.
8. Set the offset as 0 and select the FSBL ELF file.
9. Click Program to start the process of programming the QSPI flash with the
boot.bin
.
10. Wait until you see the message “Flash Operation Successful” in the SDK console.
Programming the Bitstreams Directly
If programming the QSPI is not working with the devices, the MPSoC and RFSoC can be
programmed directly using the Vivado
®
Design Suite. Make sure you have installed Vivado
before proceeding with the steps below.
IMPORTANT! When you install Vivado and then perform a cold boot of the servers, the image will not
persist in the devices.
1. Disable the PCIe slot in BIOS settings using the iDRAC GUI.
2. Perform a warm reboot on the host machine.
3. Program the bitstream using Vivado Hardware Manager as shown below for either the ZU21
or ZU19.
