
16. Run more test prints to ensure that the fold and staple positions are now correct.

Test Print
button.

Select the desired tray.

If you use the Trim or Skew Correction settings, ensure that
On
is selected for the Test Print
Trim option.

Select the
Start
button.
e.
Obtain the printed samples from the output area of the press.
f.
Measure the sample output and record both bi-fold positions on a sheet of paper.
g.
Select the correct the bi-fold position for the multiple sheets option.
h.
Select the desired staple position option.
i.
Repeat the previous steps until the desired output is achieved.
17. When the desired output is achieved, select
OK
to save and close the Fold Adjustment Profile.

After multiple attempts, if acceptable output cannot be achieved, select
OK
to save
and close the profile. For further assistance, contact the Customer Support Center.
C-Fold Adjustment Procedure
Note:
The C and Z Fold Adjustments are available with a C/Z Folder device.
1. From the PredictPrint Media Manager main window, select
Profiles
.
The Profiles window appears.
2. Select the
Fold Adjustment
tab.
The Fold Adjustment option appears.
3. Select either the
New
or
Edit
button.
If you edit an existing fold adjustment, select the desired profile from the list and then select the
Edit
button.
The [New or Existing] Profile Properties window opens.
4. Type in a new name, or if needed, edit the existing name.
It is recommend that you use a name such as
C Fold Plain
or something that indicates the
fold type.
5. From the drop-down menu, select the
C-Fold
for the Fold Type.
6. Select desired settings such as Size and Weight.
7. Select the
Test Print
button.
The Fold Adjustment - Test Print window appears.
8. Select the desired tray, and then select the
Start
button.
After the test prints complete, the [New or Existing] Profile Properties window reopens.
Note:
This screen varies depending on the selected Fold Type.
9. Obtain the printed samples from the output area of the press.
10. Measure the sample output and record both C-Fold positions on a sheet of paper.
