REP 2.3 Pad Assembly

Parts List on PL 2.1

Removal

1. Remove power cord.

2. Remove document catch tray assembly

(REP 1.1).

3. Remove coupler cover (REP 1.3).

4. Remove LH cover (REP 1.4).

5. Remove retard assembly (REP 2.1).

6. Remove pad assembly. (Figure 1)

Remove E-ring on right end of retard
assembly.

Remove E-ring securing RH cam /
stopper.

Remove RH cam / stopper.

Remove dowel pin.

Remove E-ring securing pad shaft.

Remove pad shaft, two paper
weights, and nudger arm.

Remove E-ring securing pad
assembly.

Remove pad assembly, LH and RH
retard springs, and spring spacer.

Remove LH and RH hooks if installed.

Replacement

N O T E : C h e c k a l i g n m e n t o f c o m p o n e n t s
carefully during reinstallation.

Reinstall in reverse order.
