LO A D I N G PA P E R I N T R AYS 1 A N D 2

Note: If a paper tray is opened while the printer is feeding paper from the tray, a paper jam can occur.

Select the appropriate paper for your print job.

Pull out the tray slowly until it stops.

Open the ream of paper with the seam side facing up.

Before loading paper into the tray, fan the sheets of paper.

Load and align the edge of the paper against the left edge of the tray.

Load paper in the Long Edge Feed (LEF) or portrait direction.

Gently, push in the tray until it stops.

If enabled by your system administrator, the Paper Tray Settings screen appears on the touch screen.

If you have made changes to the paper tray, touch C

Chhaannggee SSeettttiinnggss, then correct the information. If you have

not made any changes, proceed to the next step.

a. For Paper Type / Paper Weight, Paper Size, and Paper Color, select options as needed.

b. If necessary, make the desired changes to paper curl and alignment adjustment.

c. Select SSaavvee until you return to the tray settings window.
