FRU Disassembly

Front Chassis Fan (PL 5.2.4)

Remove the Front Cover (see pg. 6-136).

Remove the Duplex Unit and Tray 1 (see pg. 6-154).

Remove the Front Shield Plate, 5

screws and 3

screws.

Disconnect the Front Power Supply Fan’s wiring harness (item #1) from the Low

Voltage Power Supply Board.

Remove 2

screws securing the fan and slide the Front Power Supply Fan out of

the printer frame.

Caution: When replacing the fan, note the air flow direction

(item #2). Improper replacement of the fan can cause

damage to the printer.
