Phaser 3140/3155/3160 Printer Service Manual

Moving the Printer

Warning

Parts of the printer are hot. Wait at least 30 minutes for the printer to cool before
moving or packing the printer.

Warning

Back injury could result if you do not lift the printer properly.
The printer can be lifted by one person. Use proper lifting and handling
techniques when moving the printer.

When shipping the printer, repack the printer using the original packing material
and boxes or a Xerox packaging kit. Instructions for repacking the printer are
included in the kit. If you do not have all the original packaging, or are unable to
repackage the printer, contact your local Xerox service representative.

Caution

Failure to properly repackage the printer for shipment can result in damage to
the printer. Damage to the printer caused by improper packaging is not
covered by the Xerox warranty, service agreement, or Total Satisfaction
Guarantee.
