Appendix C: Installing and Removing Printer Options

Installing

Follow the procedure below to install a memory SIMM.

Power OFF the printer.

Disconnect the GFI power cord.

Loosen the thumbscrews and pull out the

controller board. Set it down on a flat surface.

Insert the SIMM into the slot at an angle.

The SIMM has a notch at one end to aid in
proper placement. The SIMM will only fit
one way.
