PDL Support

The Print Description Languages that are standard on the printer are
PCL5e, PCL6 (XL), and Adobe PostScript 3.

The PostScript 3 interpreter is true Adobe PostScript 3. The PCL
interpreter is an emulation.

Mailbox Sorter

Modes

This information about the 10-Bin Collator updates information
contained in Chapters 1 and 2 of the System Administrator Guide.

There are two different Mailbox/Sorter modes provided by the 10-Bin
Collator:

• Mailbox Mode:

Each mailbox bin can be addressed individually

using the job destination functionality contained in the printer
driver.

• Sorter Destination Mode:

The mailbox works like a copier sorter

when multiple sets are printed. When up to 10 sets are requested,
the first page is sent to Bin 1, the second set to Bin 2, and so on.

If more than 10 copies are selected, the entire job is sent to the Face
Down Bin.
