System Tab
The System tab has five sub-tabs:
Description Sub-tab
Maintenance
• Contains the Exit System button which allows you to
leave the CiPress
™
software and access the operating
system.
• Provides Screen Maintenance controls for the touch
screen:
- Clean button deactivates the screen for cleaning.
- Calibrate button initiates the touch screen calibration
process.
Provides the ability to load the following Definitions onto
other printers after transitioning from Dual Simplex to
Tandem: Definitions
• Paper
• Application
• Print Line, Device, Marks
The Definitions can also be loaded onto other printers within
a shop as a task accelerator.
Provides the Automatic Job End Eject option to
automatically advance completed jobs to the next device.
You can also change the job end ejection time delay. The
default time delay with no activity before paper is
automatically ejected is five minutes. Settings
Allows you to safely remove external devices and / or media
from USB and disk drives. Devices
Contains the About Xerox
®
CiPress
™
Production Inkjet
System button which allows you to view the current system
version and copyright information.
About
Importing and Exporting Definitions
The importing and exporting of Definitions takes place in the Administrative view via
System > Definitions.
The Definitions sub-tab contains a table with the following import information:
• Definition Name (Paper, Application, or Print Line, Device, Marks)
• Date and time of the last import
• Name of the import file source
