The ink usages reset to 0 for each ink color and the Start button changes to a Stop
button.

Note

The session status changes to Active during the estimation process.

4. From the FreeFlow Print Server, submit the job you want to estimate.

UI.

Exporting the Ink Usage Estimate

You need a USB storage device for exporting ink usage estimates.

The ink usage estimate is exported as tab delimited text file from the Consumables view.
The file is exported to an external USB storage device. Once the file is saved to the
external device, you can open the file on a computer and view the file as a spreadsheet.

Note

The export is possible only after an estimate has been performed and the Export Estimate
button is available.

1. Insert a USB storage device in the CiPress

™

USB port.

2. In the Consumables view, select Export Estimate.

The Export window displays.

3. Select the location on the USB storage device where you want to save the text file.

4. Select Export.

The text file is saved to the USB storage device.

Administration View

The Administration view user area provides controls for managing users and setting up
the CiPress

™

parameters.

Note

The information in this section applies to the CiPress

™

interface, or touch screen, for print

operations. It does not apply to the control station for the FreeFlow Print Server.
