Filing Setups

This screen contains information about the network location
of the scanned document.

Server IP Address /Server

Name

this is based on the filing protocol defined in the template.
For TCP/IP, enter the server IP address. For NetWare, enter
the server name, tree and context. Use the keypad to enter
information. Touch the

More Characters

button to access

additional characters.

Document Path the path or route taken to reach the directory in which the

scanned document will be placed. For NetWare, the
document path includes the physical volume name:
<Physical Volume Name>:<Directory Path>. If the physical
volume name is Vol1 and the directory path is \user\dcs,
specify the document path as Vol1:\user\dcs.

Document Folder the specific folder, which is located in the directory that

contains the document. Files are stored as TIFF files.

Login Name/Password the login name and password.

Filing Policy use to overwrite the files in the folder or append it when

specifying a folder that already contains a document. There
are four options available:
