Document Centre 220/230/332/340

is connected to the

network the

Scan to File

feature will be available.

Scan to

File

enables the creation of an electronic document from an

original document. The electronic file can be filed, faxed,
distributed via e-mail or routed over the network to your
workstation.

Scan to File

jobs use templates that contain directory paths,

locations, and image quality settings.

The scanned in document is converted to TIFF 6.0,
Multipage Tiff or PDF file format and stored electronically on
a TCP/IP or NetWare file server.

NOTE:

The

Document Centre 332/340

supports both PDF

and TIFF File Formats. The PDF image format is a TIFF
image enclosed within a PDF wrapper. The

Document

Centre 220/230 s

upports only the TIFF image format.

NOTE:

The graphic representations of the user interface

screens in this chapter are based on a fully configured

Document Centre 332/340

and the appearance of these

interface screens may differ slightly on other models or
configurations. However, feature descriptions and
functionality remain the same as described.
