HINT: To prevent electromagnetic conflicts, be sure to
turn off the devices when a sign asks you to do so.
In all areas where the use of cell phones is prohibited (e.g. gas
stations or airplanes), the walkie talkies must also be turned
off.
Do not use the devices while driving a vehicle or operating
heavy machinery.
Reception may be disturbed by interfering building materials
(e.g. steel beams or reinforced concrete) or other devices (e.g.
cell phones or radios) but also by telephone or power lines. In
these cases, change your location if possible.
The quality and range for transmission also depends on battery
power. The fuller the batteries, the better the transmission.
Check the indication in the display for this.
Inserting / replacing batteries

Remove the belt clip as described under „ Setup“.

Slide the battery compartment downward at the indigated
groove.

Insert the batteries into the device as described on the
bottom of the battery compartment. Make sure that the
polarity (+/-) is correct.
The capacity is shown in the display:
1.
batteries are full.
2.
batteries are 2/3 full.
3.
batteries are almost completely discharged.
4.
batteries are dead and must be replaced.
When the batteries are almost completely discharged, the
symbol flashes continuously and make a beep sound.
