Levelling The Boom On 3 Point Units
Set the 3 point hitch on 3 point mounted units at the de
-
sired boom spraying height. Adjust the top link to level the
boom while in the spraying position. The parallel linkage
can then adjust the spraying height without readjusting
the top link.
Activating The Sprayer
If you are using an automatic controller, refer to the owner’s
manual for instructions on setting the controller for the
desired spray volume and speed.
Open the main tank valve and the agitator valve. Engage
the pump, activate the master switch on the controller and
begin spraying.

Tilt/Fold Procedure
The Row Wyng is designed to fold one wing and/or tilt one
wing. When one side of the boom is folded to clear an ob
-
struction while spraying, the boom will drop on the unfolded
end because of a shift in the center of gravity. The extended
section of the boom must be tilted up to operate level.
The tilt feature also allows the boom to operate effectively
on uneven field conditions such as terraces.
To fold or tilt a boom wing, activate the toggle switch box
or joystick and engage the hydraulic circuit as described
on page 13.
