8.2. WLAN commands
In this section, all the commands necessary to configure the WLAN settings of the module
are described.
8.2.1. Set mode
The Calypso can be operated as a WLAN station, access point or in P2P (Wi-Fi direct)
mode. The mode can be selected using the following command and the configuration will
take effect only after a stop/start of the NWP.
The AP mode is primarily intended for device provisioning and can support up
to 4 stations.
Inherently the AP mode consumes higher currents and is therefore not suitable
for battery powered applications.
