Calibration points
and measuring
ranges
For optimum calibration over the entire measuring range of
the instrument, you will require the following four calibration
standards:
The calibration can also be performed with less than the four
calibration standards if the anticipated measured values lie
in a limited range (partial calibration). However, when se-
lecting the calibration points, the following rules must be fol-
lowed so that the instrument measures with the precision
specified in chapter 7 T
ECHNICAL DATA
within the calibration
period:
l The expected measuring range must lie between two cal-
ibration points.
l If there are more possible calibration points between the
start and end of the calibration period, they must be used.
l Always carry out the calibration in the order of the highest
to the lowest value.
