System reaction
The easYgen does NOT react on the disabling of the start bit, but only on the enabling of
the stop bit.
This has the advantage that it is not required to maintain the connection established for
the whole time in case of a remote start.
The following figure shows the reaction of the command variable on the various changes
of the bits:

Enabling the bits may be performed with the following methods:
• Bit Enabling via Modbus Protocol and RS-485 Interface
•
• Bit Enabling via CANopen Protocol and CAN Interface 1
•
Bit enabling via Modbus protocol and RS-485 interface
The parameter Modbus Slave ID must be configured.
The control bits are sent on address 503 for a start via Modbus:
• Bit 0: Start
•
• Bit 1: Stop
•
• Bits 2 and 3: must be "0" (for the watchdog).

• Bit 4: Acknowledgment
•
• Bit 9: Shutdown command
