SECTION 3 MAINTENANCE

This section lists the maintenance procedures that need to be performed.

This symbol

identifies the interval (hours of operation) at which each maintenance procedure

should be performed.

3.1

Lubrication

CAUTION!

Never apply grease to the transfer chain. It causes

sawdust buildup in chain links.

Using the grease fittings, lubricate the main shaft bearings every 50 hours of operation.

See Figure 3-1.

2.

Make sure all safety warning decals are readable. Remove sawdust and dirt. Replace any damaged
or unreadable decals immediately. Order decals from your Wood-Mizer Customer Service
Representative.
