Lower the anti-kickback fingers to their working position.

9. Motor Brake and its Circuit Inspection



Start the motor. Stop the motor by pushing the STOP button. Measure the braking time.



Start the motor. Stop the motor by turning the key switch to the “0” position. Measure the
braking time.



Start the motor. Stop the motor by turning the key switch to the “H” position. Measure the
braking time.



The motor braking time should be shorter than 10 seconds. If it is longer, adjust or replace the
brake linings. See the motor manual.
