Accuset Troubleshooting

Place the

red

meter lead to the MTRR terminal and the

black

meter lead to each of the

four connector pins, one pin at a time. The meter should indicate 10k



at pin 1 and infi-

nite resistance at pins 2, 3 & 4.

Place the

meter lead to the MTRL terminal and the

black

meter lead to each of the

four connector pins, one pin at a time. The meter should indicate 10k



at pin 2 and infi-

nite resistance at pins 1, 3 & 4.

Place the

black

meter lead to one of the aluminum blocks on the panel and the

red

meter

lead to each of the four connector pins, one pin at a time. The meter should indicate infi-
nite resistance.

The MOSFET panel is defective and needs to be replaced if any of the readings listed
above are not correct.

2.3.2 Replacing the MOSFET Panel (DC Sawmill Only)

WARNING!

Before performing any service to the sawmill

control box panel, turn the key to the OFF position, discon-
nect the negative battery lead, and remove all rings,
watches, etc.... Failure to do so may cause serious injury
and machine damage.

Turn the key switch to the off (#0) position and remove the key.

Remove the eight screws holding the MOSFET panel on the power box door.

Disconnect all the wires from the MOSFET panel terminals and remove the panel.

Replace the bad MOSFET panel with the new panel and connect the wires to the proper
terminals.

Secure the new panel with the eight previously removed screws.
