4.5 Automatic door locking
❖
The oven is equipped with an
automatic
DOOR LOCKING
.
T
HE DOOR LOCKING IS ACTIVATED AUTOMATICALLY UNDER THE FOLLOWING
CONDITIONS
:
➢
during the self-cleaning process (pyrolytic self-cleaning programme).
➢
as soon as the temperature inside the oven
exceeds 300
0
C
.
➢
when the oven is in standby mode and the temperature sensor has an open circuit
or a short circuit.
T
HE DOOR LOCKING IS DEACTIVATED AUTOMATICALLY UNDER THE
FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
:
➢
when the self-cleaning process is paused or finished
and
the temperature inside
the appliance is
less than 280
0
C
.
➢
as soon as the temperature inside the oven is
less than 280
0
C
.
NOTICE!
If the appliance is disconnected from the mains during the self-
cleaning process, the door looking remains activated. You have to connect
the appliance to the mains again so the automatic door locking can be
deactivated. However, the automatic door locking will only be deactivated
if the temperature inside the appliance is less than 280
0
C.
H
OW TO FORCE THE DEACTIVATION OF THE DOOR LOCKING MANUALLY
The door locking is activated or deactivated as soon as the corresponding
requirements are met.

The door locking is not intended to be manually deactivated by default
. If
it necessary to deactivate the door locking manually, you have to force this
deactivation. Proceed as follows.
1.
The oven must be in
STANDBY MODE
. In
STANDBY MODE
, the display indicates
the time / system time and the indicator «
TIME
/
SYSTEM TIME
» is on.
2.
Press and
hold
the buttons «
TIME
»
and
«
PAUSE
/
CANCEL
»
simultaneously
to force the deactivation of the door locking manually.
3.
An acoustic signal sounds and the indicator of the door locking «
» goes off.
4.
The door locking is deactivated. The door of the oven can be opened carefully.
