Operating times
Please check noise abatement regulations prevailing in your
country.
Charging
The lawn trimmer must be charged for approximately 9
hours before using it for the first time.
Use only the original WOLF charger (part number 7134 061).
1. Remove battery from the trimmer
(Fig. A)

2. Plug in charging unit and insert battery
(Fig. B)
.
Note
• As soon as the charging unit is plugged in and the battery
is inserted correctly, both control lamps
(Fig. B, 6 and 7)
light up.
3. Insert battery into lawn trimmer
(Fig. C, 1)

Important!
Use charging unit only in dry rooms!
Note
• In order to prolong the life the battery, it should not be
charged for a period longer than two days.
• The battery will achieve its full capacity only after it has
been charged and discharged several times.
• Do not charge the battery before extended periods of non-
use, e.g. before storing for the winter.
• The charging time is 9 hours for a battery that is complete-
ly empty (ideally, you should not charge the battery until
shortly before you use the trimmer).
• The battery should be completely empty before charging.
If this is not possible, the battery should be completely dis-
charged at least three times during each season.
Settings
The lawn trimmer is equipped with a four-position adjustable
working angle. This enables you to easily trim hard-to-reach
areas in your garden.
To set the ideal working position, please follow the instructions
below.
Important!
The cutting head should be inclined slightly for-
ward while trimming.
Working angle and wheels
• Free trimming
Working angle 1 (Fig. a)
During free trimming, you should swing the trimmer in a semi-
circular motion in front of your body.

The edge function enables precise and convenient trimming
along the edge of the lawn.

Telescoping handle and grip
The trimmer is adjusted to your body height by means of the
telescoping handle and the middle grip
(Fig. F / G).
Plant hoop guard
The plant hoop guard protects bushes, trees and plants
(Fig.
H, 1)

When edging, the plant hoop guard must remain in the posi-
tion illustrated in
(Fig. H, 2)
.
On / off switch (Fig. C, 2)
Thread adjustment (Fig. H, 3)
The thread is adjusted with the tilt switch. Briefly tilt the running
machine on a firm base, e. g. paving slab (approx. 3 kg pressure).
Approx. 2,5 cm cutting thread are the automatically paid out.
Tips on trimming
• Cut high grass slowly, step by step.
• You can prolong the life of your trimmer by removing grass
from the ventilation slots and the bottom of the trimmer be-
fore or after each use.
• In order to take full advantage of the battery capacity, you
should not switch the trimmer on and off unnecessarily.
Maintenance
Replacing the cord spool
Important!
The trimmer continues to spin after being
switched off! Always remove battery before performing any
work on the trimmer!
1. Hold spool case, turn cover in „AUF“ (open) direction of the
arrow and remove it, remove empty thread cartridge
(Fig. J)
.
2. Insert the thread end of the new thread cartridge through
the thread lug
(Fig. K, 1)
. Do not loosen the thread
from the retainingslot of the thread cartridge
(Fig. K, 2)
.
3. Slide thread cartridge over the metal knob
(Fig. L)
. Pull
end of thread until the thread is loosened from the retaining
slot of the thread cartridge. Ensure correct position of
the thread from the thread cartridge to the thread lug.
4. Attach cover. One of the two arrow markings should point
towards the thread lug

. Press down on cover
and turn to the right until it catches audibly
(Fig. M, 2)

Attention!
When switched on, thread is cut off to operational
length. Only switch machine on when in operational position.
