Stirring without delivery (1 S version only):

When using grease as lubricant, it is recommended to stir the grease in longer off-duty times
between the pump unit’s delivery cycles in order to avoid grease separation. To this effect,
the GMG-K or GMG-L units can optionally

(1S version)

be fitted with a pure stirring function.

When this stirring function is switched on, a stirring process lasting one minute will be started
after lapse of an adjustable off-duty time. Here, the course of the stirring is independent from
the delivery settings. Should stirring and delivery coincide, stirring will be suppressed.
The off-duty time for the stirring can be set in whole hours only.

Extra delivery:

By means of the "extra delivery" function, you can initiate an extraordinary 60 seconds
lasting delivery process outside the normal program flow.
It will be started if you press [SELECT] for a while in the "ON" mode of operation.

Test:

By means of the "Test" function, you can initiate a test run of the pump unit. When the keys
[SAVE] and [MODE] ar

e pressed in this order quickly one after the other, the pump unit’s test

mode is invoked (the keys must be kept depressed for half a second at least).

7.1.7 Error messages

In case of fault, the control will display one of the following errors:



E1 Motor current too high / motor overload



E2 Progressive distributor fault / revolution time >4 min

(lower row of pump elements)



E3 Reservoir minimum level reached



E4 Progressive distributor fault / revolution time >4 min

(upper row of pump elements)

After root cause remedy, error messages can be deleted by long pressing of [SAVE].

7.1.8 Connection of progressive distributors

In the "C3" control variant, you can monitor progressive distributors with electric functional
control. The progressive distributors can be flanged on directly or mounted externally.
Connect, by using suitable connecting cables, the functional control of the progressive
distributors to the relevant connector of the pump unit (see sub-section 3.5.9).
For suitable connecting cables see "Accessories" in sub-section 8.5, please.
