4.3 Stirring without delivery function
This function can only be used for the GMG-K or GMG-L pump units fitted with one row of
pump elements!
In some modes of operation, improvement of lubricant quality and delivery behaviour require
additional stirring of the lubricant.
In the GMG-K or GMG-L pump units, such stirring is enabled by means of a specially
designed eccentric drive.
When the eccentric shaft (3) rotates into the one direction of rotation, the pump elements are
working whilst the stirrer supplies them with lubricant.
As soon as the eccentric shaft (3) rotates in counter direction, the lubricant will be stirred
while the pump elements do not deliver.
The integrated control unit can be used to programme the operation and off-duty times for
the delivery with stirring and the stirring without delivery independently from each other.
4.4 Separate upper and lower pump element row delivery function
This function can only be used for the GMG-K or GMG-L pump units fitted with two row of
pump elements!
When the eccentric shaft (3) rotates into the left direction of rotation (viewed from above),
only the pump elements of the lower row will deliver while those of the upper element row are
idling.
When the eccentric shaft (3) rotates into the right direction of rotation, only the pump
elements of the upper row will deliver while those of the lower element row are idling.
The integrated control (option) can be used to programme the operation and off-duty times
for the separated delivery of the lower and upper rows.
