Side arms
D 4 M12x35 Bolts, Lock Washers 30mm Washers and Cage nut assembly.
E 4 M12x35 Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts.
ZE

Electrical socket Plate.
ZN 1
Chosen neck option.
FITTING
1.
Remove light clusters (2 nuts per cluster in luggage compartment).
2.
Remove bumper (3 torque screws in each wheel arch and 3 screws underneath bumper).
3.
Remove crash beam (hand to customer).
4.
Remove square sections of tape on chassis rails to reveal mounting points.
5.
Fit Witter cage nuts to both side arms.
6.
Fit side arms loosely
using fixings “
D
”
then attach cross tube
using fixings “
E
”.
7.
Fully tighten all fixings to correct torque setting.
8.
Cut bumper and then re-fit.
Note:
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-
1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts:
M8 - 24Nm,
M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9:
M12
– 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
