III. Operation
>> Please make sure your camera is fully charged before using.
>> Please make sure the Micro SD card has been formatted already and is securely fitted into
the camera’s SD card slot, or it will not work. We recommend you use a SDHC Class 10 Micro
SD card.
[Note]:
If no Micro SD card is fitted into the camera and you try to power on the camera, both red and
green indicator lights will flash 3 times and turn off. The camera will shut down automatically.
3.1. VIDEO RECORDING
3.1.1. Power on the camera by sliding the Power Switch to the leftmost position near the indica-
tor lights. The red indicator light will come on and flash once. And then both red and green indi-
cator lights will flash 3 times and then turn off. And the camera will start to record video.
3.1.2. Slide the Power Switch to the rightmost position near the camera lens to stop recording
video. The green indicator light will flash 3 times and then turn off. The camera will shut down
automatically.
[Note]:
1). A video clip will be generated and saved every 3 minutes automatically. Each video clip will take up
about 360MB storage space of the micro SD card.
2). The camera can record video for 3 hours continuously on a full charge.
3). Video Resolution: 1920x1080P Video Format: AVI
4).The camera supports loop recording.
3.2. AUDIO RECORDING
3.2.1. Power on the camera by sliding the Power Switch to the middle position. The red indica-
tor light will come on, flash 3 times and then turn off. And the camera will start to record audio.
3.2.2. Slide the Power Switch to the rightmost position near the camera lens to stop recording
audio. The green indicator light will flash 3 times and then turn off. The camera will shut down
automatically.
[Note]:
1). An audio clip will be generated and saved every 5 minutes automatically.
2). Audio Format: WAV
3.3. IR NIGHT VISION FUNCTION
While the camera is recording video, the IR LEDs will turn on in low lighting automatically.
When illumination is strong enough, IR LEDs will turn off automatically.
IV. Video/Audio File Uploads
4.1. Power off the camera and connect it to a proper PC computer by using the USB cable pro-
vided.
4.2. Removable disk drive folder appears.
4.3. All the files can be accessed in the drive.
V. Setting Time/Date Stamp
5.1. Power off the camera and connect it to a proper PC computer by using the USB cable pro-
vided.
5.2. Removable disk drive folder appears.
5.3. Click on the drive in the root directory and inside root directory, open the txt file named
“time.txt”.
5.4. Write the current date and time in the “time.txt” file with the correct format:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (For example: 2017-03-14 14:24:32). If you want to remove the time
and date stamp, add “N" in the “time.txt” file (For example: 2017-03-14 14:24:32 N). Save this
file.
5.5. Restart the camera and the system will upgrade the program automatically.
VI. Charging
6.1. Power off the camera and connect it to AC outlet power supply by using the USB cable pro-
vided and your DC 5V phone charger. The green indicator light will keep flashing slowly during
the charging process.
6.2. It will take 5 hours to obtain a full charge.
6.3. When the camera is fully charged, the green indicator light will turn off and the red indicator
light will come on and remain solid.
