Installation

4.

If the SmartPAC 2 display remains off, do the following:

•

If the green Power light on SmartPAC 2 does not illuminate

Turn off power to SmartPAC 2, and recheck all power connections.  Check that the 
connectors are correctly seated on both ends of the cables between the SmartPAC 2 
board and the display.  Power up SmartPAC 2 again.  If the display remains off, contact 
Wintriss Tech. Support.

•

If the green Power light illuminates, but the display remains off

Power down SmartPAC 2, and check that the connectors are correctly seated on both 
ends of the cables between the SmartPAC 2 board and the display.  Power up SmartPAC 
2 again.  If the display remains off, contact Wintriss Tech. Support.

Verifying Installation of DiProPAC and ProCamPAC

If you installed DiProPAC and/or ProCamPAC on SmartPAC 2, you need to verify that the 
installation was done correctly and that these options are available.  Do the following:

1.

With the Main Program Menu on the SmartPAC 2 screen, press the 1 and CLEAR keys at 
the same time to display the Main Initialization Menu (see Figure 2-22, page 2-35).

2.

Move the highlight bar to INSTALLED OPTIONS, and press ENTER.  The Installed 
Options screen, shown in Figure 2-23, page 2-35 displays.

Check to see that the options you installed (i.e., ProCamPAC and/or DiProPAC) are displayed 
in the list.

•

If the correct option or options are on the list, go to the next section.

•

If you do not see the option(s) you installed on the list, go to Adding or Upgrading 
DiProPAC or ProCamPAC, page 2-18 and verify that you performed the installation 
properly.  Check that the option board or boards are plugged into the correct connectors.  If 
you still cannot fix the problem, call Wintriss Tech. Support.
