SETUP EMAIL

(INITIALIZATION

– SETUP NETWORK – SETUP EMAIL)

SmartPAC PRO’s E-mail function allows you to send e-mails to individuals in your SmartPAC PRO
network and to other recipients, such as Wintriss Tech. Support, via the Internet. If you plan to use E-
mail, follow the instructions below. If you need information about your network, contact your IT
department.

1.

Press SETUP NETWORK on the Main Initialization Menu. The Network Setup Utility screen
appears.

2.

Press the checkbox next to ENABLE EMAIL so it is check-marked.

3.

Press SETUP EMAIL. The Messaging Setup screen appears.

4.

Press each entry box and key in the information using the onscreen keyboard.

•

For secure login with user name and password, check the box next to Secure Login.

•

For the additional security of SSL (secure sockets layer), check the box next to Use SSL.

5.

When done, press Apply Changes.

Set up your e-mail recipient list and predefined message list as described in the following sections.
