1. Installation and Initial Commissioning
The installation of the machine and the service connections to the water supply and drain pipes must be effected
in accordance with "Installation Instructions for Winterhalter Gastronom Glass Washers and Dish Washers". As
soon as the service connections have been completed, please contact Winterhalter Gastronom in order that the
machine may be commissioned in accordance with "Commissioning Instructions for Winterhalter Gastronom
Dish and Utensil Washing Machines".
N.B.
Do not operate the machine until the commissioning is completed.
2. Daily Operation Procedures
Prior to commencing a wash cycle, the machine should be made ready for operation.
-Open the water supply stop valve and switch on electrical supply.
-Insert stand pipe in wash tank.
-Press control switch (5) (is lit when switched on).
The wash tank is filled automatically. At the same time the rinse boiler water and wash tank water will heat to
85°C and 55/60°C respectively. During heating the white controllamp (11) is lit. The rinse boiler heater takes
presidence over the wash tank heater and the time taken to reach the requisite temperatures will vary in
accordance with the incoming water temperature (approx. 60 minutes with cold water).
-Ensure that there is sufficient rinse aid in the rinse aid container. Usage per cycle is between 1 and 1,5 cm
3
.
Rinse aid dosing is automatic.
-Add 65 grams of detergent (powder) to the heated wash tank water.
To avoid specks on the tank bottom, the detergent should be dissolved in warm water prior to its addition to the
wash tank or the machine should be put into operation immediately after its addition to the wash tank.
PIease consider, that the concentration of the wash water constantly reduces by the number of racks inserted
and so from time to time further dosing has to be done. Therefore after approximately each 10 washed racks
about 55 grams of detergent (powder) have to be added to the tank water.
After the temperature control lamp extinguishes washing may be started.
