Attach the eye bolt (008,

Figure 12-8

) to the applicable position in the gallery

above the bearing (005).

2.2

Attach the lever chain hoist to the eye bolt (008).

2.3

Apply lubricating oil to the thread and bottom of the head of the special screw
(006).

2.4

Put the special screw (006) through the bearing cover (007) on the outer side.

2.5

Torque the special screw (006) to 400 Nm.

2.6

On the engine side, remove the four screws (003) and the locking plates (009)
on the bearing cover.

2.7

Remove the bearing cover (004).

2.8

Remove the eight screws (002) and the locking plates (010) from the bearing
(005).
