10 Faults, causes and remedies
If the operating fault cannot be remedied,
please consult specialist technicians or the
nearest Wilo after-sales service point or repre-
sentative.
11 Spare parts
Spare parts or repairs may be ordered from local
specialist technicians and/or the Wilo after-sales
service.
To avoid queries and incorrect orders, all data on
the name plate should be submitted with each
order.

Low water level triggering at the pres-
sure boosting system, even though tank
is filled Float switch connected incorrectly Check the float switch connection (see
Fig. 7 and wiring diagram of the pressure
boosting system control unit)
Floater on the float switch blocked/
jammed Check float switch
Float switch defective Replace float switch
Low water level triggering at the pres-
sure boosting system, even though
replenishment is taking place Replenishment amount through the inlet
valve too low Increase inlet amount
Flow pressure at the inlet valve too low Enlarge the cross-section of the inlet
pipe
Inlet valve defective Replace inlet valve
Air in the pressure boosting system
pumps Draw-off connection or connection to
pressure boosting system not tight Seal connections
Cavitation noise in the pumps Cross-section of the connection line
between tank and pressure boosting
system too small Adjust the connection line (enlarge
diameter)
No water in the pressure boosting sys-
tem, even though tank is filled Check valve between break tank and
pressure boosting system closed Open the check valve
Draw-off connection or connection with
the pressure boosting system
obstructed Remedy the obstruction
No water is replenished to replace the
volume extracted by the pressure boost-
ing system Check valve closed upstream from the
inlet valve Open the check valve
Inlet valve obstructed Remedy the obstruction
Inlet valve defective Replace inlet valve
