1. WARNING
When installing and using this product, you must pay
attention to the following security issues.
1) The instructions must be read carefully and adhered
to during handling.
2) The pump is to be supplied by an isolating trans-
former or through a residual current device (RCD)
with a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30 mA.
3) A proper fuse must be installed in the electri-
cal installation of the pump. The specifications
should be selected according to the fuse, twice
the rated current of the electric pump specified
on the rating plate.
4) All lead wires must be connected by a licensed electrician, according to local standards. The
motor must be grounded.
5) In order to prevent electric shock, children are not allowed to use the product without
adult supervision.
6) The power cable of the pump must not be buried in the ground. Position the cable so that
it cannot be destroyed, e.g. by lawnmowers.
7) In order to prevent electric shock, the damaged power cable must be replaced
immediately.
8) In order to prevent electric shock, do not use the extension wire to connect the power
source.
9) Pumping of inflammable and explosive fluids is strictly prohibited.
10) To shut down the pump, an all-pole switch that provides complete shutdown must be
installed in the fixed wiring in accordance with national wiring regulations.
CAUTION: The pump has a non-self-resetting thermal cut-out which, if tripped, must
be reset by disconnecting the power supply.
