AF generator menu – softkeys The softkeys of the AF generator menu provide direct access to the following
functions:
AF generator – parameters The PARAM... softkey of the AF generator menu provides direct access to the
AUX out controls:
When, for example, an external loudspeaker is connected to the
AUX
OUT
connector of the 4400, you can listen either to the audio signal generated or
received by the 4400.
The AUX output can be activated or deactivated from any of the three Audio
menus, using the
|AUX out On|
or the
|AUX out Off|
softkeys, respectively.
AUX out Source — Selection field. Selects the audio signal to be directed to the
“AUX 4 (AUX out)” connector of the 4400.

Audio generator

Provides direct access to the Parameters menu of the audio
generator.
A push on this softkey stops the generation of audio signals
and terminates all audio outputs.
The softkey will change to
START Gen. Pushing this softkey
will switch on the audio generator again with all previous
settings and all outputs will be on the same connectors and
levels as set before.
Pushing this softkey will turn on the output of the audio sig-
nal to the
AUX
OUT
connector. All other settings of the
audio generator will remain unchanged.
The softkey changes to
AUX Out Off
. A push on this softkey
will turn the signal at the AUX out connector (for example to
an external speaker) off again.
NOTE
Codec out
cannot be selected unless a call setup has been performed.
