6.5.2 Scaling

The engineering unit can be changed by the user by using the Scaling function.

By pressing the Scaling button the following information are available:

Low scaling: min. value of the signal and reading scale (i.e. 0 Kg @ 0 bar)
High scaling: max. value of the signal and reading scale (i.e. 10 Kg @ 5 bar)
Eng. Unit Scl: customized engineering unit of the measuring signal
Decimals num.: number of decimal digits requested
Transfer functi.: linear, square root, square

– Scaling parameters setting

After setting the parameters go back to the previous screen by shorty pressing the button Scaling
ON.
The main screen now displays the active function by showing the text “SCL” on the blue bar. The
measuring value with the new unit is displayed with big numbers, and the actual measuring value
is displayed with small numbers, close the indication “Signal”. The following screen shows two
channels and the first one displays the active Scaling function:
