Before You Start
• Remove the clear protective film coverings from both of
Teddy Ruxpin’s
TM
eyes.
• Locate the battery box in Teddy Ruxpin’s
TM
back by lifting
his vest and shirt. Using a Phillips head screwdriver,
unscrew the battery door and insert 4xAA (LR6) type 1.5V
batteries (not included). Lithium batteries are suggested for
longer playtime.
• Locate the switch on Teddy Ruxpin’s
TM
back and turn him on.
There are two settings: LOW volume and HIGH volume.
You can choose your preference.

If Teddy Ruxpin

is not functioning
properly, try pressing this button to help
him turn back on. This button will only
reset Teddy Ruxpin’s
TM
functions. No
stories will be deleted from his internal
storage library.
Sleep Mode
To save battery life, Teddy Ruxpin
TM
will go
into Sleep Mode after 5 minutes without
use. In Sleep Mode, his LCD eyes and
Bluetooth signal will turn off. Press any
button to wake him up again.
OFF/LOW/HIGH
To preserve battery life, always turn
Teddy Ruxpin
TM
off when not in use. For
playtime, Teddy Ruxpin
TM
operates at
LOW or HIGH volume.
Bluetooth LED
Bluetooth light will flash while your
smart device is pairing with Teddy
Ruxpin
TM
. Once pairing is successful,
the light will flash green.
Power LED
When battery is low, this light will
blink. When battery is very low, this
light will blink faster and Teddy
Ruxpin
TM
will go into Sleep Mode.
